Lindsey was the most joyful, outgoing person. Everyone talks about her smile, which was her personality shining out from within, but I always think about her voice. The first time anyone would meet her in person, they always had a jaw dropping look upon hearing her deep husky voice. She had the voice from the moment she was born and even her crying as an infant was hoarse and deep. It was the “cutest” thing to hear when she was little. Once she and Stevie got to a certain age and started spending every summer at the beach, my husband, daughter and I would take them skiing on the San Bernard and hang out in the evenings with the rest of the family and friends. As she got older she always included Taylor in everything that they did, from taking a 10 year old cruising the beach, to letting her hang with the “big” kids and treat her the same as a friend. She shared so much love.
I will miss the “wrong Tara” calls, her laughter, her casualness, her silliness, her smile, her voice, her opinions…her.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Lindsey Freeman Gamez. Lindsey was taken from us suddenly on Saturday December 19th, 2009. She leaves behind her loving husband Matt her beautiful newborn baby boy Callum Ryker, her parents Mark and Pam, her sister Stevie, brother Tyler and many other family members and close friends.
Lindsey was often remembered for her infectious smile and her warm spirit.
